Porsche at the 2013 North American International Auto Show
Atlanta. Porsche is celebrating a new flagship for the Cayenne SUV family at the North American International Auto Show with the world premiere of the 550 hp Cayenne Turbo S.
Porsche is recalling almost 20,300 of its Cayenne S.U.V.’s because their headlight assemblies may come loose from the fender, posing a safety hazard. The action covers the 2011-12 Cayenne, Cayenne S, Cayenne S Hybrid and Cayenne Turbo.
In a letter dated Feb. 15 and posted to the Web site of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on Friday, Porsche told the agency that the headlight assembly was designed as a slide-in module that typically would be secured to the fender with a twist-lock mechanism.
