The new LS 460 with the Lexus badge on it has just been launched in the United States, and continues the LS line-up offering “incomparable comfort and performance in the flagship luxury sedan category”.
The newest LS comes in standard with a multi-information display, navigation, audio system and customers can choose from four leather and wood-trimmed interior combinations, while the Nebula Gray Pearl exterior color is replacing the Smoky Granite Mica.
The 2012 five-seat sedan is powered 4.6 liter V8 engine, which is developing 380 horsepower and 367 lb-ft of torque with the rear-wheel drive technology, while the AWD has 357 HP and 344 lb-ft, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The 0 to 60 mph acceleration time takes 5.4 seconds for RWD and 5.9 for AWD and the vehicle has 16 mpg in the city and 24 on the highway fuel consumption for the rear-wheel drive (AWD 16 city, 23 highway).
Customers of the newest LS can choose a Sport Package, available only for the RWD version, with 19 inch ten-spoke forged alloy wheels, a distinctive Aero kit, perforated Black / Saddle leather interior with sport front seats, paddle shifters and a Brembo braking system.
