Porsche Cars North America, Inc. and the Gansevoort Hotel Group in New York City are redefining the concept of “room with a view” through an exclusive new transportation partnership. Beginning Aug. 15, guests at both the Gansevoort Hotel in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District as well as the newest location on Park Avenue South can enjoy the journey and the views en route to the city’s legendary locales in Porsche’s roomy “sports car for four,” the 2011 Porsche Panamera 4S.

The Ram Truck brand and Mossy Oak® brand camouflage are joining forces on a multifaceted partnership aimed at America’s outdoor enthusiasts.
The Ram Truck Brand will become a major sponsor of Mossy Oak-produced television shows airing on the Outdoor Channel and the Pursuit Channel. In addition to commercial slots, Ram Trucks will be utilized by and featured in many of the shows.

Daimler AG announced on Thursday a joint venture with BYD, the Chinese automobile and battery manufacturer, to build a research and technology center to develop electric cars in BYD’s home city of Shenzhen. The Shenzhen BYD Daimler New Technology Company, as the company will be called, will seek to strengthen each brand’s position in China’s electric-vehicle market.
In March, the two automakers signed a memorandum of understanding to build electric cars in China. At the time, Henry Li, BYD’s international sales manager, said a proposed jointly developed electric car would be positioned above the e6, the four-door E.V. that BYD displayed at the Detroit auto show in January.
